TweetI'm a sprinter and use winstrol, it's been helping me, dont know for long distance runners. I know EPO works wonders with the reproduction of red blood cells and whole lot more endurance.

TweetDepends on what you consider "long distance"? I am an amateur triathlete. Usually olympic distance. Done a couple halves. Oh and yes i use winny. prolly 7 or 8 times. the results? anytime you get an hour or more of cardio in a day and you have 50+mgs of winny ed in you, you get shredded. i have to take 2000-3000 mgs of glucosamine and chrondoitin to keep my joints from snapping but it works.
So to answer your queston, i dont totally believe that winny helps tons with endurance athletes. but i have yet to quit taking it.

TweetI agree that you need a high dose of at least 2 grams of glucosamine because my joints get very dry from winny. And running any longer than 30 minutes causes a lot of joint pain.
Tweetis glutamine the same thing.....work similar?
TweetNo they are different, and work on different things.Originally posted by mj23
is glutamine the same thing.....work similar?
Glucosamine helps to build structural integrity of joints and connective tissues and is a precursor for joint fluid, ligaments, tendons, membranes and blood vessels
Glutamine is classified as a nonessential amino acid since it can be readily synthesized by various tissues such as the skeletal muscles, liver, and adipose tissue.
However;
The carbon skeleton of glutamine can serve as a gluconeogenic precursor and may regulate gluconeogenesis independently of the insulin/glucagon ratio. Because glutamine may serve as a precursor to glucose independently of glucacon regulation, glutamine supplementation may also enhance glycogenolysis and thus increase muscle glycogen stores even when insulin levels are low
(that was copied and pasted, i dont normally talk like that)
Maybe we should bump for YJ. I am sure he knows.

TweetThanks for the info, when I say long distance I mean I run about seven miles a day four times a week. I don't need to get too shredded, but I thought winny might help strenghten my legs without bulking up too much.
Tweet7 miles/4x's a week, for me thats a fuckin lot LOL
TweetThis is peak training season, got to give your all.
TweetI go about 3 or 4 miles a day and a long run sunday morning of about 10. Like i said up above, i dont really think it helps tons for endurance athletes but the theory of adding strength w/o the bk using winny is accurate.Originally posted by jtrzen
