I read an article today that said if you are using arimidex while taking synthetic testosterone your DHT levels will increase, because instead of the test turning into estrogen it turns into DHT to make up for it. So in other words they said you may be preventing yourself from being bloated and getting gyno by eliminating the estrogen, but you are 10 times more likely to lose your hair now because of the DHT buildup. Is this true? Because personally i would rather keep my hair, and screw the anitestrogens. Please post your thoughts.

Oh yeah. Will taking Saw Palmetto keep the DHT down or is that just myth??

Saw palmetto will help, finasteride(proscar) is better.

The reason DHT is so much higher is because test levels are so much higher then normal. I really dont think an arimidex is going to make that big of a difference, definitely not 10 times.

I suggest you use 1mg finasteride a day.

hmmmmm... that is an interesting way to think of it. I dont know if its true, but it seems plausible to me.

Yes it is plausible, but think of it this way. If you use ldex you have more TEST running around than if you didnt right? Then if you use finasteride you have even more test right. Because less test is converting to estrogen and DHT. So your gains should be even better. But it doesnt work that way. The extra is still minimal. Its not like half the test you inject converts to estrogen, but if you stop it from becoming estrogen then that just means that half now becomes even more dht. The difference will be negligable.

Sorry that post sucked but you get the idea right?

Saw palmetto can help with DHT but the debate is still out on ow much it really does. However Saw palmetto is still a good supplement to take IMO. I think it helps make your complexion/ skin better and also your hair just feels more healthy. i take 320 mg a day (gel caps standardized to 85-95 % fatty acids and sterols)

In regards to proscar/******** I personally would not use it for several reasons. Here are a few that I have read in the past going by memory only so don't hold me to the specifics. This is just what I recall. (1) It only possibly helps with hair loss and regrowth on the top/back part of the head. The so called bald spot that it has been named. And has not been shown to help those with a receding hairline in the front/above the temples and going back. (2) it is a product that once you start it and if you do grow any hair back you must take it for the rest of your life or what you have grown you will lose. (3) I read it takes 6 months to start working (4) It can cause impotence or sexual dysfunctions.

Now this is the most interesting/important posts I have read in a long time. Does Liquidex combined with Test or another AS increase your chances of losing your hair. This is an answer that we must find out the absolute truth on. Speculating on this topic and giving an opinion isn't going to hurt but I believe the correct answer to this question is extremely important. At least to me because I am paranoid about losing my hair and I am considering using Liquidex with Deca for the bloat/water retention it may cause. Let's get the answer here correct guys.

I am also going to post this question on the hair care forum for the Nizoralman and see what he thinks.

Yeah. Im using the arimidex with test/Eq right now and i am getting worried that my hair will start falling out. Ive never had hairloss problems before but ive also never used antiestrogens before. The only reason im using the l-dex with my current cycle is because i got bloated very badly when i take test and i want to keep the bloat down for the summer. Im also breaking out real bad since i started taking the l-dex. Ive never had pimples in any of my previous cycles like this. They are growing on my back and forehead and the benzoymicine isnt keeping them away.

Lets get more feedback on this. Im really interested and i can tell others are too. Bump.
