Norditropin???

Also, how stable is it? Does it need to be refridge before or only after mixing? Does it come with bacteriostatic water? How long is it good after mixing??

Norditropin Cartridges, Premixed Growth Hormone, Available In The US

The liquid growth hormone is available in cartridges for use in the NordiPen®, its companion pen delivery system.

Liquid Norditropin in a ready-to-use cartridge is placed in an injection pen, providing an easier, quicker and more convenient method of injecting growth hormone for thousands of patients."


He added, "Compliance is a common problem in the long-term treatment of growth deficiency in children. The ease and convenience of Norditropin cartridges offers health care professionals a new option that may increase compliance in these patients. Novo Nordisk is pleased to bring its history of worldwide leadership in endocrinology to the US with the introduction of this innovative product."


Norditropin cartridges are indicated for treatment of growth failure due to growth hormone deficiency in children. The cartridges contain liquid Norditropin, making reconstitution unnecessary. The NordiPen companion pen delivery system is designed for simple, easy and accurate dosing and uses the NovoFine® 30 needle, one of the thinnest and finest needles available. The Norditropin cartridge has a 15 mg/1.5mL capacity, which is suitable for use by all patients diagnosed with growth hormone insufficiency. Norditropin cartridge has been shown to be bioequivalent to freeze-dried Norditropin.

How to store Norditropin® Simplexx™?
You must store Norditropin Simplexx solution
for injection at 2ºC - 8ºC (in a refrigerator).
You must not freeze it or expose it to heat.
Furthermore you should keep it in the outer
carton, or during use in the pen (NordiPen™),
in order to protect it from light.
After taking into use Norditropin Simplexx may
be kept for up to 4 weeks at 2ºC - 8ºC (in a
refrigerator).
Do not use Norditropin Simplexx which has
been frozen or exposed to excessive temperatures.
Never use Norditropin Simplexx after the expiry
date printed on the package.
Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
