TweetNegative on TJ. But I traveled to Nogales, Sonora (just across AZ border)
on Saturday May 10. Freakin normal as anything. I had heard of "increased"
security but xperience/witnessed none of it.
Hope this helps.
TweetAnybody taken a trip to TJ recently?
Just curious if you had any problems crossing the border with goodies.
I'm thinking of making a trip myself and was wondering if it's worth it right now.

TweetTJ is a go bro. went about a month ago and a couple months before that. one of buddies also just got back last week. id really take the extra 20min drive to rosarito though. get off on the first exit and go down the road not more than a block and you'll see a vet with a shitload of animals caged up outside. that's the spot IMO. look around though but these guys are easy as hell to barter and have the best prices and product ive found down there.
--im only repeating what ive heard...ive never left the country.
oh ya, have fun! surf baja while your down there too
Tweetif youve got a roof rack on your car (that is if you plan on driving), throw some surfboards up there and say your there for the day to surf at la fonda's or baja malibu. surfers dont juice, are you kidding me!
TweetHey GB
Did you go to a pharmacy or vet supply?
TweetThanks for the info italia.
I'll probably try just going to TJ...don't want to get lost on the back roads of Mexico!! ...either that or try Nogales (it's closer).

I went to a pharm---but probably for the last time.
Have a friend who goes
down to Nogales all the time and gets great gear at good prices from one of the local vet clinics.
PM if u want any info;glad to help.

Tweetjust a heads up jackdaddy, one of my buddies got his stuff in TJ and the pharm sold him out!! the federalies were waiting for some one of his description at the border. they let him off though cuase he only had a small personal supply. they took it of course though. Rosarito isnt hard to find. theres signs everywhere. it's also better to get out of the american places anyways cause the prices drop.
good luck though where ever you decide to shop
definately surfboards help IMO
TweetGood advice italia215. I would take my time at mexico since some places sell you out. When I went (not tijuana) it seemed like some of the pharm guys wanted to sell me out. So I went to a vet and I took my time in mex. Goodluck in your trip

Tweetyup thats the place!! the first time i went there was young boy, probably 13 helping us. i definately took advantage of that!! non of them speak english or maybe a few words so it's pretty hard to barter. most of the communicating involves a calculator and pointing . "quanto es" is a good one to know, "how much is it".
that place is zoo...literally! so much going on with the animals and the locals that if you take your time and think about your selections, they actually leave you to go help other mexicans with the animals. meanwhile, your sitting there all alone with cargo shorts on and several bottles of goodies sitting out on the counter......no cameras........sssshhhhhhhh
TweetDam bro I want to see that vet. It seems like steroid heaven
