Can progesterone break down into androgens??
TweetOk I was reading this article (doesnt really matter what it was about) and I was already doubtful of it being worthy to wipe my ass to begin with.
And then they quote this doctor saying "progesterone breaks down into androgens in the body" and I'm like WTF? that doesnt sound right. I put down that article right then but now im just making sure that statement was entirely false. I'm right. right?

TweetIts like saying "fat turns to muscle" or "muscle turns to fat" in other words, its like comparing apples to oranges.....eastorgen of any kind cant IMO be "converted" to an androgen. It MAY cause an increase in androgen production as a reflex arc (the increase in estrogen may increase testosterone production in that the body is always trying to stay in an equlibrium, thus a high level of one may increase the production of another) but they will not convert back and forth with each other IMO.

Yeah this guy claims that when you INGEST progesterone it converts to an androgen.
