The burden of originality is one that most people don't want to accept. Over the years I have carried several different side arms for work. My favorite was my glock 21. I carried that as a service weapon for 5 years until I was required to change to a .40 cal and I switched to the glock 22. The 21 chambers .45cal. It is a little big so if you have small hands it might not work for you. I also carried a Smith & Wesson for a while. It was simmilar to the 5906 that Smith currently makes. The only problem I had with that gun was the back site got caught when I would draw the gun.
I know alot of people will turn thier noses up at the glock but it was by far the best service weapon I have had or tried.
So be sure that you are makin the best of what that you have

A solid gun for a solid price is a .40 cal Glock, sub compact. Lightweight, easy to conceal, easy to fire.

I have a Ruger speed six that is a great revolver. I'm not a fan of .32 or .38. I had to use a Smith .38 special when I first started working in law enforcement and was going through skills classes. I hated that weapon. I was real happy when the department allowed us to go to a semi auto.
I leave the Dirty Harry stuff to skilled shooters like yourself, and don't like to carry as my own personal preference.

I dont own guns to take over the world, I dont own guns so if someone calls my girlfriend a ***** I can shoot them, I dont plan to rob anyone nor do I plan to shoot anyone.
