TweetThats a question I would love to know too.
Regular Testerone
Supplemented with 200mg/Cypionate weekly
TweetTwo men, same age, same cardiac shape, same bf% basically, they are clones of each other. One's testerone range is about the middle of the normal range, and the other is supplemented with 200mg of Test Cypionate a week. Which one will be healthier, live a longer life, etc. Why? Back it up with some rationale too.

Tweeti would lean towards regular testosterone since hte body is using it's own endogeneous supply of test, and doesn't have the associated problems of increased cholesterol
so i'm gonna lean towards the natural guy ...
Tweeti would go with the natural test for the younger youth and the added test for older men since they dont produce it past a certian age. Im sure science can back thatone up, its called, testosterone treatment for old timers!
Tweethonestly, im going to say the guy that takes 200mg. I dont think thats a high enough dose to cause any ill effects but would allow an older person to remain a little more active and what not that would more than out do any ill effects that dose would have.
100% or Nothing
TweetDepends on the overall test levels they have. If the 200mg/week guy's remain within the high-normal range, I would say he lives longer, b/c that would keep his heart healthier, better lipid profile, etc. However if 200mg/week raised his levels above 1000, I'd think he might *slightly* shorten his life. Either way, I'm going to be the 200mg/week guy, so we'll know in about 80 years
Tweetwell I think the main variable is how old they were when they started. If you started a guy form birth at 200 a week of course the natural guy is gonna win. even at 15-20 years id still say the natural guy is gonna win. But if you start talking about late 30s and 40s when you want to start the experiment, Id probably take the 200 a week guy.
I mean, the guy who invented HRT and did it himself lasted close to 100 years, but he didnt start it till later in his life.

TweetAll good points, I just thought it would be intresting to get people's views whom use steroids themselves.
I eat at least 6 times a day to build my body
I pray at least 6 times a day to build my soul
Tweeti think steroids are incredibly unhealthy, even when done "safely"
i figure from my use in the past i'll expect health problems down the road, but it's my own fault after all ...

I couldn't vote, because I think it is a little of both...
I think that the natural test guy would live longer, because the use of synthetic test is going to pose some health risks (even tho they may be minimal with the low dosage).
Then I think the guy with the extra test is going to be healthier. More active, younger looking, and stronger.....
yea me too, I couldn't vote either..It's a 50/50 IMO...if your a young one, your body is still reproducing test levels at a moderate level...I guess maybe you should of done the poll with age difference, then it would of made a difference
TweetI was watching a show awhile ago where they said that it's a myth that mens' testosterone drops in the late 20's.. The reason guys sex drives go down is because it levels off then and they are getting sex more often or have had it enough/gone without it enough not to want it so badly..
Testosterone level for a 18-21 year old is same as a 70 year old.
30-60 is as high of test level you will ever see and it will not change unless you have a natural problem or screw with it...
Just thought I'd add this for interest.. So you can argue when people tell you young guys have more test.. lol
TweetOne doctor told me that test supplementation will be common for 50 yo + men in 10 years. He said that there's a lot of research about it.
Tweetwell u said the natural guys test levels were still in the normal range so i would see no need for replacement therapy so i would think he would be healthier
TweetLike I said though, if they 200mg/week didn't put them ABOVE normal, just high-normal, like my fathers at 802, then they would be healthier than a 400. My dad's cholesterol is excellent, all profiles perfect, very strong and fit for 50. So I think a high-normal range is better than *just* normal. IMO
