TweetI know right? I’m a big fish eater too!

TweetI wonder about fish like trout that you catch in a mountain stream. Is that full of mercury too?
Tweetno, the mercury is coming from almost entirely farm raised sources. you are supposed to be good to go with wild caught, esp stuff that you are catching yourself. what you have to look out for though is places that stock their area with trout and other fish from farms. then it will also be an issue

TweetYpper guns. plankton is where it originates. Farmed fish in the ocean or Asian farmed fish are not great for you. Wild caught is better but predatory fish eating fish that eat plankton will have it. So, salmon, Mahi Mahi, tuna, snapper.....ect.
Trout though, if the stream is clean the fish is clean mostly.
