I don't have to take it because where I'm applying, if you go part time, you don't have to take it, they put you on probation for 2 semesters and if you get B's you're ok. But I did very well on the sat's, act's, and ap exams, so I'm thinking my gmat grade would probably help me get accepted. Anyone taken it??

It is just like the SAT. Same type of questions, except for the essay part. If you did well on the SAT, I say go for it. I think it was like $150 to take. Not too bad if it will give some peace of mind.

I suggest you take it anyway, because even if the place you're applying to states that it's not required, you may eventually want to transfer and the GMAT score may be required at that institution. Additionally, getting a good GMAT score could also help you score some scholarships.

most schools have a business division, I took like 3 graduate classes to get my MBA, but I didn't have time with work, working out and partying, so I quit.
