After 30+ yrs of training and training through injuries I believe to reveal my difference of hurt vs injured. Hurt: slow down, take ibuprofen, train around it. Injured: can't train. After one week off comes psychological depression from not training. Second week, diet starts changing = less activity, less fuel needed. However, boredom and sitting/resting (severe back injury) which leads to grazing and eating less dialed in food. Third week, trying to change diet but not motivated. Fourth week (screw this, forcing forearms and seated calf to start) I'm setting goals to change. Just my opinion but always try and stay fitness focused & don't fall down the hole of injury.
