TweetSomething interesting that I've experienced with soy... but first I'm in no way slamming any supplement companies products. I've used products from most supplement companies and they all have products I like and products I don't.
I was using Dymatize Elite Mass weight gainer years ago trying to pack on some size. I was shopping around and pricing different shakes and came across MHP's Up Your Mass. Just looking at the macros, serving size and price, I bought that one instead for a change. The vanilla tasted AMAZING. However, before I even finished the jug I noticed I was breaking out a lot. Hadn't changed anything up and didn't even think about the shake until a buddy at the gym mentioned MHP used soy as the protein source in that shake. I checked into it, switched back to the Dymatize Elite Mass and the breakouts stopped. Likely numerous things that could have caused my body to randomly start breaking out, but the timing was as such that the soy in the shake seemed the most likely culprit. Just a personal experience I had with a soy product. Something I tend to stay away from now.
