Damn. I know some people who think that eating free range grass fed meat is perfectly safe. I dont know . But processed meats can kill you.
They found that each 50-gram portion of processed meat - which primarily includes pork or beef - consumed daily increases the risk of colorectal cancer by 18 percent.

The IARC also uncovered evidence of a link between red meat intake and increased risk of colorectal, pancreatic, and prostate cancers.

It is thought that cooking red meats at high temperatures - through frying or barbecuing, for example - is what contributes to an increased cancer risk.

According to the National Cancer Institute - a part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) - cooking meats at high temperatures can lead to the production of heterocyclic amines (HCAs) and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), which are chemicals that have been shown to increase cancer risk in animal models.

i know this is probably silly as I heard it from a beef man but the truth is probably somewhere in the center. he states the context of these studies have been "skewed" to make beef out as bad. same thing happened with fat and in the 70s and 80s low fat foods were the rage because fat kills.

agenda to demonize beef you ask?

he told me cow farts warming the environment, EPA regs about poop, takes a lot of land to run beef ect. if less people eat it then no need to legislate unpopular anti beef stuff.

amuway, i am sure grilled beef can raise the risks of cancer, so does the exhaust from cars, chemicals in veggies (even organic), hell your house is filled with cancer causing contaminants even anti bacterial soap and toothpaste..............Antibacterial Soap Ingredient May Cause Cancer in Mice. Long-term exposure to triclosan — an antibacterial ingredient found in soap, toothpaste and other common household products — may lead to liver cancer in mice, according to a new study.Nov 19, 2014

I will add this information and you do with it as you will. If you look up the prl rating of meat fish and eggs it will shock you. It's very acidic. Now if you take the acidic part and take it farther and compare to alkaline foods it will lead you in a rabbit hole as to why others are acidic and have starch(man made chemical by the way)
