Tweeti did the same thing to my foot and my fingers a few months back. it wrecked my hoof and my fingers bad. i also finished my freaking workout haha. my nails are still black and blue. in all honesty the foot was bad but the finger tips were way way worse. i was about a heart beat from hitting the doc's office to have them drained or cut off. i tried ice, ice bath, nerve pain cream vicoden and nothing knocked it down. i took my sleep meds before bed and still didnt sleep a bit. i dont rush any more and i damn sure pay attention what the hell i am doing when trying to swap out plates fast

TweetHappened to me taking a 100 lbs plate off the the leg press. Slipped and landed on my left big toe. I did not scream. TBH I was too worried that I would be missing workouts because of a fucked up toe.

I took off my shoe and sock and it was bleeding and swelling fast. I wrapped it in paper towel and scotch tape from the desk and finished my lift. My toe bled and eventually the toe nail turned black and fell off over the next couple of months. It never kept me from a lift though. Guess I got lucky.

TweetReminds me of the funnniest thing I ever saw at a gym. One time, a guy came in and joined up, first day ever. So he first walks right over to the leg press machine and starts loading it with plates cuz he wanted to show everyone what a beast he is at leg pressing. Well, the dumbass doesnt realize the machine is not bolted down to the floor and he loads one side with like 7 fortyfive lb plates. Needless to say the whole entire leg press machine flipped over and 7 STEEL 45 lb plates crashed to the ground. You can imagine how loud it was LOL. People were rolling on the floor laughing . We never saw him show his face in that gym again.

TweetI haven't dropped one on my toe, but I routinely smash my fingers in between the weights when putting the plates on. Man that hurts like hell. You'd think I'd learn after all these years to take my time and pay attention when putting on the plates, but seems like once a month... smash.
