Just saw it and I thought it was pretty good. It sort of had that old western type feel to it. Lots of western style gun fights. If you like westerns, I'd say you'd probably enjoy it.

Can't wait to see it. Can't go wrong with Denzel. Have no idea how to spell it.

idk, i liked the original, i just have super issues with remakes. classics really don't need a remake. i'm seeing all these classics remade that i went to see as a young kid. Karate kid, refused to see the bastadized remake with will smith's halfwit kid and jackie chan, Red Dawn, Ghostbusters, Annie, again another will smith kid remake, At least when they did a "remake" of wizrd of oz it was more like a sequel or prequel of sorts with Mila Kunis and James Franco. If a movie was just horribly made i can see it being redone but these are pretty much classics. What's next? Casablanca? Breakfast Club? Gone With the Wind?

LOL yeah so true. I hated the new remake of Karate kid. I also didn't care for the remake of True Grit. Just wasn't the same as the old John Wayne original. I thought Magnificent Seven was pretty good though. For some reason, it gave me that old western style movie feel. Wasn't the original, but I like it better than the True Grit remake.
