TweetWow brutha like you didn't hurt yourself worse. But when you get that urge it's hard to deny.
TweetI keep a few loaded bars and a dip and pullup bar on my back patio. Then I can randomly knock out a few sets whenever I want a pump in between my gym workouts.
Last night I was doing some light barbell overheads and decided to jump up in weight to a heavier bar. The sun was going down so I am out there working out in the dark, feeling my way around. So I grab the heavier bar, thinking it was only 80 pounds or so, and clean it and instantly realize it is a helluva lot heavier than I thought it was and the most excruciating pain ripped thru both shoulders. Now I am sitting here with both shoulders throbbing with pain lol...Not a serious injury, but now am going to hav e to lay off it for a day or two. I aint even going to go golfing .
The moral of the story is if youre going to workout in the dark, at least take a flashlight. lol

TweetMan I know how that feels, but opposite with the weight. We have a powerlifting section at my gym with some of those different weights that are all the same size, just different thicknesses for heavier and lighter. So, the 10lbs weights look like 45lbs weight. I leaned over to pick up what I though was a 45lbs weight, yanked it and almost threw it up in the air lol. My body was ready to pick up something much heavier, so my lower back just kinda spazzed out a bit.
TweetZone !!!! I told u to take off the weights after I was done !!!
