TweetYes sr almost like perfect storm but better
TweetOne of my best friends actually spurred this movie into motion. His Dad was one of the four heroes. If you ever met his Dad, he was in poor health and certainly didn't act like a hero or even talk about it. Truth is, my friend was digging around in his dad's drawer looking for batteries and he stumbled upon a small newspaper article thrown into the drawer many years ago. He uncrumpled it and read about a coast guard rescue. He asked his Dad about it and he just kind of blew it off as something that happened. My friend kept digging and then found that the Coast Guard was actually searching for survivors to meet in Miami for the anniversary of the rescue. They were flown to Miami and that's where the interviews were furthered and my friend found out more about his Dad and the other three rescue heroes. They were then contacted by Disney and then later flown to the East Coast for filming. His Dad passed away a couple years ago but I'm sure he joined the rest of his crew in Heaven. Really amazing story and of course, big balls to take on that scenario!
TweetGood flick. The chick in that came off so clingy! Lol

TweetI was suppose to head out to the canyons this Friday. About 9 hours out from where I'm at. We're calling it off due to weather. Don't want to be on the other end of rescue like that..lol
