the police would too but it is the politicians that handicap them much like our armed forces are down range. it is a sad sad state for these poor kids and old people in these areas for sure

I agree, know some personally and its getting harder for our officers there. Many are retiring earlier than they planned.

Tweetthat is a great project, I am afraid it just will not last. Much like most neighborhood watch groups people have to work to earn a living. it gets in the way of helping.

want to stop the violence in Chicago? Eliminate the "thug" mentality of so many young people in the inner city. The drop out rate in highschool is WAY higher than the national average because school is not "cool"

anyway I respect folks for trying to make their place better. I think it is a band aide on a bullet wound
