Xmas spirit went swirling

TweetI've owned my Sensei's dojo just over a year now. Finally got enough students that the place is pretty much paying for itself, not a bunch of profit but at least I'm not shelling out of pocket to keep place running. Planned a Xmas party at hooters for the students, put up a sign up sheet and made sure they knew food and drink were their own responsibility. I went out and got a little something for each student for a gift. My friend was our hostess and she told me the table at the end, my ex sister-in-law and her husband, and her friend who also has a student with me were miffed that they were going to have to pay for their food. Hooters was hosting three parties last night and had two cooks call out so food was a little backed up. My sis in laws hubby starts *****ing if food isn't out in five minutes he's fucking leaving. one of my friends whose daughter trains with me got her food and it was cold so our hostess brought it back to be replaced. After awhile the food hadn't come out so my friend that works there was pissed and went to find out what happened. She brought out fresh hot food for her and informed me the last table had told the waitress when she brought back the original replacement for cold food that it was theirs. End of the night when we were ready to leave, my sister in law and party departed without paying their tabs as well as eating someone else's food that they weren't charged for. My friend that works there would have been held accountable for their bill as well as not getting a tip so I ended up paying an additional $96 for their bills. Besides the fact I didn't want my friend to get screwed it reflects badly on my dojo's reputation. I gotta go in and teach tonight knowing my nephew's mom and dad fucked me for $100 after I bought gifts for 15 students. Smh nothing like family fucking your Xmas spirit to shit.
