There is strong evidence that people eat more if portions are larger. To defeat obesity, researchers suggest regulatory measures to reduce portion sizes.

As long as the government supplied me with a beautiful Asian woman to feed me my portion controlled meals. SELF CONTROL PEOPLE. The government needs to stay out of our lives. If people want to eat until they are the size of small bears go ahead. Just don't ***** when your heart goes out and diabeties is slowly killing you. Sorry...... Just can't believe some of this stuff.

I'm not for any regulation at all! Nobody should tell me what to eat. It should be common sense though for people to self regulate jeez come on people.

You can't mandate portion size because no ones needs are standard. As bodybuilders we need far more nutrients than sedentary people. Perhaps we encourage the education of our youth as to what healthy choices are. Of course I think a lot of the blame for the lack of good choices today come from lazy parenting and busy schedules. We are the best teachers our kids will ever have.

Advertising doesnt help. I think people get their advice about what a meal is by what they see on TV. I mean, a pizza Hut "meal deal" consists of a pizza, bread sticks and a giant cookie. People feed that shit to their family thinking thats real food

If you're an idiot and can't figure out why you are a mess than maybe someone should regulate for you. But no way gov't should get involved. I mean it's pretty much common sense. The problem is stupidity not portion size regulation.

nothing burns my ass more than gov regulations and gov regulating my personal control. we are grown ass adults and unless you are stupid and have mental issue we all know that if we eat more than we need and dont exercise then the end result will be getting fat and continuing to do so will result in health issues down the road. those are personal choices that are made by the individual. these are the same people that have zero issues with drug commercials on tv, docs giving out meds like they are candy and allowing individuals to sue said drug companies for damages even though their are warnings on the label. we as a society as a whole are stupid and lazy to allow this crap to continue. we need to take back what is ours and run it the way it should be ran. if i screw myself up doing what i do, i know at the end of the day it was my choice and by my own hand and no one else should be held accountable for my own actions. i also dont want the gov regulating what i choose to do to my own self because it is my choice and i dont get gov health care that i am not paying for, so stay the fuck out of my life and my choices.

I'm not a fan of regulations at all. The damn government wants to regulate everything. It's scary, the more they try to regulate, the more of your freedom to choose they're taking away.

Exactly! I'm tired of regulations, and the government thinking they should control every aspect of our lives. I mean do we really want to go down that road to Socialism, well I think we are on that road, but do we want to move to the fast lane? I hope not.
Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master. George Washington
