Tweetthat's some mcgyver stuff right there dirt. got to do what it takes to make stuff happen
TweetI could not afford the 50$ to 60$ cost of a slingshot so I put my mind to work. I made one. It looks good and works good. I went to a tire store and got a trailer inner tube (used and free) in 13". Washed and dried it. Cut off the valve stem. I put my arms through the inner tube marking it where my arms are secure but not confined. I used black duct tape and wrapped it making sure the inner tube stays flat.
I just needed one to lock my arms in the proper position not necessarily the added push it gives. It works well for that. As for the scientific data about poundage etc, I don't know and most likely never find out.
I am happy with it and tickled I saved 60$
