Record Breakers: an open road for corporate investment in Powerlifting?

November 7 will be a day to watch out for: Jesse Burdick, Meet Director, has succeeded in making his case for Reebok to invest a reasonable amount of money on “tiny little powerlifting”. At this date, the SPF Reebok Record Breakers Meet is going to take place in Dublin, CA, at CSA Gym.
Reebok is offering US$1000.00 for any all time open class world record that is broken at the meet. They are also awarding US$500.00 for the biggest squat, bench, deadlift and total for each day.
Finally, Reebok gear in the value of US $1000.00 and US $500.00 will be given to the best lifter at each day.
