Tweeton your side......I would have told the person to wait her fn turn
TweetOK a little back ground. To me a microwave is a kitchen tool. I use it more than my stove top but not as much as my broiler.
Today I was going to fix a can of soup. I got a clean microwave bowl and dumped the soup contents in. I was getting ready to nuke it when I heard from behind me. Have a little dignity and heat it up on the stove top in a pan.
I heard that I was no longer hungry in fact I was so pissed I threw everything away and asking the girl if she thought she was so much better than me because she used the stove top. I was yelling too.
What do you all think. Would you guys be pissed or just shrug it off?
Tweeton your side......I would have told the person to wait her fn turn
TweetI'd have politely told her to orally gratify my genitalia. Wtf is it to her how you heat your food. Got a nosy, irritating beyotch like that at my work who is thank god retiring in 15 days

Tweetme too about stupid people brother, not patience though, what am i going to get out of getting angry? i would be hungry when my appetite came back, i would get a headache and get all tense.
no, path of least resistance is to just take my time and ignore stupidity. doing this it pisses off the other person more and i have the moral high ground. not to mention I can take all the time I want with the microwave. slowly stirring and checking temp, putting it back in.......pretending it is done, then decide it is not and put it back in for 20 more seconds.
Oh they get to the point of boiling over and I am calm and cool.
turn the tables my friend
TweetI would have said, in a soft, kind voice "Ignorance and an insult in one single sentence. I would be impressed if I was not so sad for your many failings." The kind look would turn into one of pity, the type you see when someone looks at a dog that is being put to sleep out of mercy. I then would have continued to nuke my food, humming softly. My favorite tune in such a situation is Green Sleeves (aka What Child is This).
I also hate stupidity, but I have found I enjoy the verbal destruction I can cause to someone I know to be my mental inferior by several orders.
The thoughts of being eco friendly by not wasting water cleaning both a bowl AND a pan are easily used in such a situation as well...but used in the manner of "I cannot believe how much you hate the Earth and future generations by purposefully wasting water to clean a bowl and pan when using the microwave only requires the bowl to be cleaned. It makes me wonder what other horrific things you enjoy doing to harm the Earth and the children that are yet to be born."
I get enjoyment out of it.
