So I travel A LOT but sometimes I tire of lugging around my full size lap top. I've been considering a tablet like the Samsung 10.1 and getting a keyboard for it or just getting a much smaller laptop like Azure 10" touch screen.

Here's my question since I'm not super techy on this stuff. What's the pro's and con's of a tablet vs a small laptop. They seem virtually the same when I compare the two. Opinions would be great too. For me I mostly use this for work, internet, typing on word docs, and I do stream a lot of video but not like movie length like short clips of video I have to piece together for work usually from other devices.

      thx

Hey brother! I have a MacBook Air and an iPad. I bought a keyboard for that iPad too. In my humble opinion there are not too many major differences from a Microsoft Surface (tablet that works as a laptop) and a small laptop. I have a cloud account (Onedrive for example) so I store all my files anywhere I go. I subscribe to Microsoft 365 and get all their Office programs for my iPad too or any device I want. I do like the feel, though, at times of using an actual laptop when the work gets in depth. If money isn't a major concern I LOVE the small MacBook Air. They make a 11 and 13 inch model. Not sure if any of this helped! Feel free to ask anything you can think of buddy

we have the samsung tab S and an ipad. the samsung is an amazing piece of machinery. we fight over it over the ipad and we love the ipad.

the screen is PHENOMENAL! battery life is good, not great but i think most tablets suffer in this department due to their size and limited battery space.

we have a blue tooth keyboard and mouse for ours.

      works great.

cons, 4G cards in tablets are not real strong, laptops get better reception than tabs in both 4G and wifi.

computing power for multitasking goes to laptop. more ram and bigger processors.

the biggest pro of a tablet is its size. put a good cover on it, toss it in a little backpack and the weight is negligible

samsung makes a good product. we would have bought another ipad (again you can't go wrong with one) but the tab S is just better. also i do not have to mess with proprietary apple software which i hate (con?)

do research i am sure you will be happy with a tablet. we are
