TweetThis is great! I have made the cauliflower crust pizza and loved it. However you do have to remember that cauliflower is carbs, so compare the difference in breakdown and judge if it's worth it. I would rather have a regular Grilled Cheese Sandwich once a year.

TweetSame here
Tweeti am not a big fan of cauliflower personally but the carbs have zero impact as long as they dont have any sugars assosiated with them. same concept as with greens, they are non impacting carbs when sugar isnt involved. fiber also cancels out any sugars in whatever you are eating. still have to be mindful of the cals though

TweetYes veggies are complex carbs and usually low calorie, low sugar for the most part so I think they outweigh simple carbs for sure. I love cauliflower especially smothered with cheese sauce
Veritas Vos Liberabit
Tweetcomplex carbs also have an impact on your carb counts. we just dont count the ones that are mainly fiber and such. oats, wheat stuff etc.... are all complex but they still impact. with most non sugar containing veges you can normally get by with them not impacting your intake. broccoli lettuce and spinach for example. you can eat them day in and day out with no issues whatsoever. now the crazy part is that onions and some peppers are loaded with sugars. pretty crazy lol.
oh and you also are kinda wrecking the cauliflower idea by smothering it in cheese lol. the same goes for broccoli haha. oh to be bulking again and swimming in some cheese

TweetYes it is probably something a competitor def monitors more. me i want to enjoy my food at this time in my life unless i decide to do my first comp which I dont see happening anytime soon, lol. I could live just fine on meat and veggies smothered in cheese or fresh garlic, olive oil and a lil lemon! I eat more of a Zone style type of menu.
Veritas Vos Liberabit
Tweetsign me up for some of that zone plan lol. i could def do some smothered cheese and garlic right bout now

TweetAgree any veggie is better with cheese but back to the subject. The pizza idea is null and void because the tomato sauce and peppers are loaded with sugar?
TweetGuess it depends on your goals Trixie but a little onion and sauce is probably ok here and there but again, it depends on what you are trying to achieve, Both tomatoes and onions have great health benefits too
Veritas Vos Liberabit
TweetOne cup or raw chopped onion has 7 grams of sugar. Sprinkle those on your cauliflower crust and you wont be eating a cupful anyhow. One large tomato contains about 5 grams of sugar and cherry tomatoes are sweeter so they y contain more and way to easy to pop in your mouth and eat lots. Go organic whenever you can with veggies and fruits

TweetThat's right Baby she is just trying to get out of making the Cauliflower pizza because it is a lot of work and I love it.
