I have read that the body cannot digest more than 30-40 grams of protein per meal but that seems hard to believe IF one is going to get the amounts of protein some suggest while on cycle. I weigh 210 lbs. and consume about 315 grams per day in 7 meals. But, one of those meals is at lunch where I eat two 6 ounces cans of tuna totaling 66 grams and another is post workout where I get 50 grams in a malto/dextrin mix recovery drink.
What are your thoughts? Is eating over 40 grams a waste?
