TweetI love Dextrose, who doesnt, but there are definately good and bad times to consume it. I am beginning to write everything out for my upcoming bulking cycle and diet and am trying to figure out the best ways to get my diet up to or as close as possible to 6k cals. I am wondering when the best times are, and who bumps up their dextrose intake when bulking? I am thinking the best times to take and still keep it from effecting the BF too much would be 150g first am and then 200g post workout.
The other thing I am considering is adding 2 tbsp of natty PB with every meal, and some extra scoops here and there. 2 tbsp = 160 cals, so you figure if you get in 10 tbsp per day thats 1600 cals by itself, and its delicious.
Any thoughts?

TweetAs you know excess Dextrose/Maltodextrin is shuttled straight to fat and it seems like 150-200g of it at one sitting is waaay more than your body can make use of efficiently. So I'd say you're definitely going to pack on the fat but a lot depends on your metabolism as the first response said. In addition to that, you're going to do some heavy PB eating so either your a big big dude or you're about to become a big fat dude. =)
TweetI gotta disagree with the glutamin comment, on 6000 cals your body does not need more glutamine. Have you bulked with this many cals in the past and what are you currently eating. I would suggest starting off lower then that and as you gain weight then add cals as needed. I agree 200g is a bit much.

TweetDont try to gain to fast bro, you will put on fat that way. Just gradually increase cals each week. And i think that dextrose should be kept post workout only. I don't think its too much of a problems eating 10-12 TLB of peanut butter a day, but when you add tons of carbs to that mix, you wont be happy with the results. I believe Prolangtum loves to bulk with HIGH fat, like 200+ and moderate carbs. Something that might interst you.....

TweetI like to up my cals with fat. Anythign over 400g of carbs tends to make me fat. I try to keep my protein always around 450g, when bulking carbs at 350-400g, and around 200g of fat.
