TweetA man shouldn't even threaten to hit a woman, well a actual man wouldn't. Good women and all children are blessings, I think us men would have each other killed off in a few years if we didn't have women around.
TweetMy blood boils when I think of this. We have some neighbors that live in the building next to us. Last year there were screams coming from the bedroom and they were blood curdling. I went home and told fuzo, and he went over there and checked it out only to be told by an old man that everything was ok.
There has always been something odd going on over there and I , as usual, tend to be very aware of surroundings. So the other night my daughter and I walked by this building, the bedroom window was open and there was a young woman outside it talking to a woman on the inside who I could only see her head and her neck and arms. Her eye was huge and black and blue, her neck and arms had huge bruises, 2 men were standing behind her and it reaked of booze coming from the room. My daughter was freaked out and I just became full of anger. We kept going and when we came home I told fuzo and he went over there and did not see anyone as everything was shut. So myself and the property manager have been looking into this. Come to find out there are many people in the building that know this is going on. The woman has even knocked on doors in cry for help and not once has anyone called the police or even the property manager. I could nevr turn my cheek on that and I cant understand how so many people have? I cant get her face out of my head and I know my lil girl cant either but I used this opportunity to tell her how a man should NEVER hit a woman. The police will not do nothing about it now, so it is a "wait until I hear or see it again thing".
I am actually glad that Fuzo did not see this woman like that because then he would be in trouble because he never would have walked away.
Just sad how people are afraid, or just don't want to help people anymore

TweetI'm the same as FUZO and wouldn't have been able to walk away. I would have thrown those guys a beating they'd have nightmares about the rest of their lives. I'm always a calm, laid back, easy going, super nice guy, but that's one thing that makes me fuming angry.
What makes me just as angry are the people that turned their cheeks when she was knocking on their doors crying for help. Sometimes it's like humanity is slowly disappearing from our society.
TweetCall the police for sure
Tweetthey really don't do much around here but if we call and there is visible harm, they will arrest on the spot!

TweetID CALL THEM AS SOON AS THE SCREAMS AND FIGHTING STARTS....DO IT SOON SO THE COPS SEE HER BLACK EYE AND BRUISES!
TweetI would have been locked up for opening a case or two of whoop ass on the two assholes
TweetYes , I know. I have no problem calling but I do not want then to even think it was I who does. I have our daughter to think about and myself to. Fuzo isn't worried about himself though, lol

TweetDONT YOU GUYS HAVE A SILENT WITNESS NUMBER OR SOMETHING YOU COULD CALL ANONYMOUSLY? THATS WHAT WE HAVE OUT HERE.
NO ONE WOULD KNOW WHO CALLED
Tweet
I will alert the property manager and she will take care of it. I will not ignore it though like many of the other neighbors have. It becomes my business when children see it and just in general, I cant walk away from something like that

Tweetfuzo needs to go have a chat with those ppl with a concealed weapon. they need to know that shit isnt tolerated..
TweetI'm afraid to think of what I would do if I saw that.
Tweet^^i hear you animal, i could seriously fuck somebody's world up. tell me what limb you want destroy and i can make it happen.
Wow though, terrible stuff, that's really sad.
I relate to one part more than any, "I could never turn my cheek on that and I cant understand how so many people have?"
Several years ago I happened upon a motorcycle accident. It was in a fairly remote area in the rocky mountains (i was looking for a mtb trail). no cell phone reception. multiple bikes were involved, one seriously injured, and one fatality. I was the first person there. the young lady who lost her life was at the bottom of a 30ft. ravine. the guy who was seriously injured lost most of the meat on the inside of his right forearm from clinging onto the guard rail and was bleeding badly. the girl, who's name i never found out, appeared to me to have broken her neck, and back while tumbling down the ravine. her front tire and fork were stuck under the guard rail torn from the rest of her bike which was flung down the ravine. i climbed down to her to see if she if she was okay and she was non-responsive, no sign of life, she landed belly down, her body looked twisted, blood coming out of her mouth. i'm no medic though so i figured there was still hope. i ran back up to the road and over the course of ~20mins i was only able to flag down a few cars, others just passed by even though there was clearly an emergency. i wanted to see if someone might have a cell phone signal to get help. the few who did stop rolled up their windows and drove away when i explained the situation. i remember being dumbfounded by the lack of everyone's willingness to help. i just wanted them to see if they could call 911 and yet this simple request went ungranted. i'm thinking seconds count and we HAVE to get an ambulance here, total one track mind - that HAS to happen; and others just seemed to want to go on with their day like they had no obligation to do anything. no obligation to help another human being. I've never been more disappointed in people than in those moments. I couldn't turn a cheek to the situation and could not understand how others could. Eventually a truck w/ two dirt bikes in the back stopped. The guys had a sat phone on em and were able to call for help. The guy who messed up his arm got air lifted out. the girl was confirmed dead at the scene. i found out through a newspaper website she was 24. oct 18, 2009 was the date this happened. I'll never forget it. Since, it has been my goal in life to save someone's life. Idk if that sounds stupid or not but I have to do that. I just feel like I have to even the score so to speak.
Sorry if I took this is a totally different direction, that one part resonated with me and made me think of this incident.
Respectfully,

Eventually, if there isn't deep integrity and fundamental character strength, the challenges of life will cause true motives to surface and human relationship failure will replace short-term success.
There is an idea of who I am: some kind of abstraction. But there is no real me; only an entity, something illusory. And though I can hide my cold gaze, and you can shake my hand and feel my flesh gripping yours and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable, I simply am not there.
