I liked it a lot. Shot great. But double stack was too thick for iwb holster. I have decided I want either a lc9s or an m&p shield. Both have pros and cons. Any other single stack 9mm conceal pistols I should look at? Do not want to spend more than $450. Would love a sig 938 but they are too much.

bought a M&P shield. Impact arms has them for $358 + shipping $10 and then FFL $10 at a place here in town. so $378 to me.

most gun shops have them for $375-390 + tax

went to the gun show sunday. handled every single stack sub compact i could. liked the shield more than any. good trigger (just like the 9C i sold) less than 1" thick. fits my hand well, i have medium sized fingers and many small pistols do not fit. Like the sig 290 but the barrel axis was high and i could not get my pinky on the grip. it was also heavy. the LC9S was very nice and a little cheaper but the shield just felt better.

I daily CC a glock 26 with a glock 19 mag in it. I love the conceal-ability of single stacks but my hands are way to big for me to feel comfortable with them. My dad carries a kel tech .38 pocket carry and my good friend loves to carry his kel tech pf9. They are relatively cheap. No safety so the trigger pull is 16 miles long and that annoyws me.
I never meant to be better than anyone, I was just born that way. Its hard being a god amongst peasants!

i had a PF9 but it never felt right in my hand, i carry a P3AT almost all the time now as it fits in my pocket in .380. i can shoot it fine with the reduced recoil of the smaller round. just want a 9mm carry pistol. my brother bought a shield and i have shot it. real good

Springfield XD 3" sub compact is tops on my list. But I'm also old school and carry a .38 air weight smith. Look at the XD series. Like them a lot more than glocks.
There is no hunting like the hunting of man, and those who have hunted armed men long enough and liked it, never care for anything else thereafter.

i had an XD 9mm double stack sub compact. did not like it. the barrel axis is too high and i got a lot of muzzle flip. Don't get me wrong, it is a reliable fine pistol. but for me there were better options. i traded my XD straight up for the M&P 9C. i liked it better. but it was still so thick being double stack.

i needed a single. i saw Springfield has a single stack XD now at the gun show and it is sweet. just like the M&P better. its all fitment of the hand.

if i could i would carry my full size CZ SP01 that is a sick combat pistol. 18+1 and fires flatter and lighter than any pistol i have ever shot. and that includes 9mm 1911s..........yeah lighter than an all steel 1911 (which i love and have 2)

i'm a big fan of the springfield XDs, the beretta px4 is a sweet single stack. i've shot a couple single stack kimber 45s that were surprisingly light but i wasn't thinking about them being used for conceal carry at the time so maybe not too pragmatic.
      Respectfully,
      9mm

Eventually, if there isn't deep integrity and fundamental character strength, the challenges of life will cause true motives to surface and human relationship failure will replace short-term success.

There is an idea of who I am: some kind of abstraction. But there is no real me; only an entity, something illusory. And though I can hide my cold gaze, and you can shake my hand and feel my flesh gripping yours and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable, I simply am not there.

I love the kimbers but unless you are very proficient i would stick to a striker fired pistol. carrying cocked and locked with a 1911 trigger worries me. not because the gun will malfunction but maybe me
