It looks as though I have possibly torn my LCL in my knee (pending an MRI confirmation). I tore my ACL in the other knee many years back and I'm not looking forward to the lengthily recovery time. At least with this injury I am able to put some weight on my knee without it completely giving out so I'm staying positive that it is a minor tear and won't require surgery, but I will find out soon enough. I would be lying though if a little bit of depression hasn't crept in. I hate when my routine gets affected by the smallest of things let alone something like this

What type of graft did you guys use? I went with a hamstring graft this first time around which left me with chronic hamstring pulls, but I'm not to excited about a cadaver graft. I'm interested to hear about others experiences.

that blows big time man. one of the competitors i worked with last year had the big three ligs in her knee replaced at one time. all with cadiver donated ones. she was back at full speed in 3 and a half months and out of the brace in 2 and a half. on top of bodybuilding she also did volley ball basket ball and soft ball, so she abused the hell out of her body and even after getting it fixed she had 99% full range of motion and barely any pain at all.

Cadaver is sounding better and better the more I research. I sure am not liking the 10-20% loss of strength in the hamstring due to the removal of tissue for a graft.
