Old School FNG

First let me say it's great to be here! I'm excited to be back on a forum full of like minded individuals. As the thread title would suggest I consider myself to be somewhat old school while being an FNG here. If this makes sense then you know who I am: formerly known as NP from CS (not trying to be pretentious, just curious to see if I might be remembered and by whom). Not sure how appropriate it is to reference sites that seem to be no more. My humblest of apologies if that isn't cool, I'll be more than happy to edit if need be. I'm back to the iron game, and forum life after a long and tumultuous absence. Life's a ***** but I'm here stronger, more resilient, and focused than ever despite that *****'s every attempt to do away with me. My goals these days are to continue to build, and sustain a healthy lifestyle with an undying pursuit of becoming bigger, faster, and stronger. I've only begun to browse the forum but I'm excited to delve into the glut of threads that I'm sure I'll be able to learn from. In addition to the iron game I've been an on again off again member of the combat sports arena and can't wait to contribute to the MMA section of the site whenever I can. While I'm sure there is a ton of intellectual capital circulating through the posts here, I am eager to contribute in any way I am able. I look forward to getting to know some new friends, while hopefully continuing to build upon previously made connections.
If there are any areas of an intro I've neglected, or that anyone may be curious about please let me know!

There is an idea of who I am: some kind of abstraction. But there is no real me; only an entity, something illusory. And though I can hide my cold gaze, and you can shake my hand and feel my flesh gripping yours and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable, I simply am not there.
