Tweetprobably cheaper to get a new one. i just have a cheap bass tube and it works for me. always wanted a great system that sounded awesome but always spent $ on performance
TweetHow many of you guys are car audio freaks like me? I have a two door blazer with a 1400watt lanzar amp and 1200watt lanzar sub and the amount of bass is incredible in my truck. I seriously cant live without it. So over the last couple months I could hear the fan in my amp start whinning and I didn't think twice about it. Well it finally stopped working and it popped the amp. Do you guys know if something like that can be repaired?
Im sure the power supply burned up along with some internal components. I don't really want to spend the money, its only $250, I think the price has come down on it, new on amazon. Thankfully my friend gave me his 8 inch Kicker solobaric with a measly 150w amp lol. I have the gain all the way up and it doesn't sound bad, I was actually impressed.
Should I just buy a new one? Im thinking that paying someone to fix it wouldn't be too cost effective.
Heres a link to it here: https://www.lanzar.com/sku/OPTI1400D/...ass--Amplifier

Tweetyea man i hear that. I think engine mods trump audio for sure!
TweetYep just buy a new one it would cost too much to fix it I allways used JL audio amps they last forever cost a bit more but worth it
TweetHifonics Brutus it's under 200... I have one and it's bad ass
Tweetyou guys are the people that while sitting in traffic i want to get out and jump on your hoods. yep i am an old man and dont like my brains being rattled at the red light any more. that is sep true when you know for a fact that the system probably costs far more than any other aspect of the pos vehicle. i love me some loud music yes but not in the car

TweetI used to love having a nice sounding system. I still look at www.sonicelectronix.com
TweetI used to love my sound systems. the louder the better. I still love loud bass but now i prefer a cleaner sound. I also find bass really annoying unless your the one listening to the actual music.
LIke someone else already said it would probably be cheaper easier and faster to just replace it.
I never meant to be better than anyone, I was just born that way. Its hard being a god amongst peasants!
