TweetI do not know much about the use of insulin for bulking yet, but I will. In the meantime, is it very dangerous taking insulin with you post workout shake? I mean where would the danger be if I took 90g dextros, 50g Whey islolate and 8-10iu insulin post workout on each workout day, and then no insu on non workout days.

TweetThanks, another one. How long would one have to take it to get the benefits(muscle gains) from it. I'm going for a 14day bulk/14day cut now. Been bulking forquite a while and have tried bulking for 14days and then cutting for 10-14 days with success. If I ran humalog with this bulk phase for 14days, would this be too short or? I thought something like this:
workout mon-fri.
On workout days while bulking for 14days:
+2000calories over what I need not to gain or loose weight
2 hours pre workout: 120g carbs from rice or pasta, white fish or chickenbreast(low fat)
Right before I hit the gym 20g carbs, 20g whey protein
Workout for 50-60 minutes
30 minutes later first day: 5iu humalog, 100g dextros, 60g Whey
1 hour later: 50g dextros, 50g Whey isolate
1 hour later: 120g carbs from rice or pasta, 50g protein from whoite fish or chicken
2 hours later, normal "medium fat" meal..
and so on
day 2, 6iu humalog
day 3, 7iu
day 4, 8iu
day 5, 8iu
then weekend off, and on the monday-fri 10iu
Also always have suger in hand if I feel hypo

TweetI have, go with humalog, very simple to order on the net thru a online Canuck pharmacy. Humulin blocks fat from being released into the blood for 4-6 hours, about 5 hours too long. You only need that sustained spike for an hour. Humalog overshoots it by one hour, but not as long as humulin. Plus the spike of humalog is mroe predictable for me.

Humalin-r is OTC in many areas ... but is not as fast acting as Humalog ...

i like log cause i only have to worry about hypo for 2 hrs, but with hum r its almost twice that. i get sleepy on slin and hate having to try to stay awake for 4 hrs.
r acts longer so you get 4 hrs of good feeding and nutrient cramming, while log is only about 2 hrs. so technically the r will give you more benefit per iu. but then again you can just take another shot of log at the 2 hr mark if you want 4 hrs of benefit.
so i still think log is best in about every aspectl, cause you have more controll, sometimes you just dont want 4 hrs, and for the times you do, just take another shot, shits so cheap anyway it doesnt matter. other than conveinece of buying it otc, i see no reason to buy hum r. you can easily get log from canada customs will not seize it.
