TweetSounds like you are doing the right things? Do you feel dehydrated still?
TweetSo my work has been reeking havoc on my training times and throw in family responsibilities I've been hitting a lot of late night training sessions. Training has been great but my issue is when I wake up I feel like someone let the air out of a balloon and feel very deflated.
Sleep is decent 6-8 hours, Nutrition is good, midwork out BCAA/glutamine supp, Dymatize iso-100 with serving of waxy maize post workout, plenty of h2o, no Pre workout or I wouldn't be able to sleep.
I can't figure out why I wake up feeling like this? Any suggestions?

TweetI workout late in the evening myself. When I'm done I drink my post workout shake, come home, shower, and go straight to bed. I feel like that every morning lol! I get anywhere from 6-8 hours of sleep depending on when the kids wake up. The only positive thing I think is that mentally I know I get to go straight to bed, and don't have to play with my kids when I get home, so it helps me push harder in the gym so I get tired/exhausted...
TweetI live in AZ,baby1, I drink water like a camel and still feel thirsty! H2o is pretty great all in all.
TweetYa that's my thing lately my business has been so busy I have to come home to do the fam thing if I can't sneak away during work. So I end up going when everyone is asleep. Makes for some nice workouts cause the gym is empty and you can make noise and messes!
This morning thing has got me baffled. It's like being steam rolled. That's the only way I can describe it.
I even moved part of my gh dose to post workout/before bed and that hasn't helped!
TweetYes but one can drink to much water and flush important minerals/electrolytes from there body. Maybe add a magnesium supp before bed? You can buy it in powder form and add to your pw shake, or just take alon. Wtaer does not have the electrolytes we need. You maybe depleted sodium and potassium too. Maybe replace the waxy maize with a banana? I would try some of these and see what you come up with. Magnesium is a natural muscle relaxant also

TweetI feel you brother. I've even contemplated coffee, but I can't because it dehydrates me quick. I drink at least gallons before the gym, and I need every ml of it or else it's cramp city lol!
TweetGet more carbs in intra and post workout and see what happens.
TweetUnderstand if that's a change you have made to you schedule, your body will take some time to adapt to what you have done, you're doing nothing wrong ,give it time bro
TweetThis would be a great suggestion but I'm getting plenty Pre and post. Post I'm getting 40-50 grams of waxy. Normally if I train morning or afternoon I'd be getting that big meal hour post post work out but I go to bed pretty soon after getting home. Banana as baby1 suggested? I just hate simple carbs in my stomach during sleep.
TweetIma go with what everyone is saying and say more good calories and electrolytes specifically if you work outside or is physically demanding. Or maybe if its messing with you're head you have to much negative going on with trying to juggle everything amd you need to make time in your day to just forget everything and focus on just you sound like stress could be causkng extra cortisol in your body. Just my two cents. Man it helps me when I'm in the situation
Tweet^now stress could be what's triggering, good point! Days I'm getting in that late I'm beat down obviously or I would've be getting in that late!
...now how to solve it!
