I went to the doc the other day to get my test levels checked, and I was way low. 140/week total, and he said I should be at like 300 total. these were preliminary results, but it is still shocking. I currently have only one cycle under my belt, which finished 5 months ago. I am ready to start my next, have everything, but have to wait this shit out first. I did not post cycle therapy last cycle, but have it for this time. anyway, should I come clean with my doc, since they have to fix the problem anyway?

thats low. i had low sperm count and have been off for months and i have started hcg clomid and nolva. i've been doing all of them for about 6 weeks now and will continue for a few more and then get my sperm checked again. so you might want to do something like i did.

I wonder if that's best... If the doc makes a note of it in his records and his health insurance company (or future companies) get a whiff of it... If it's low, his doc should be able to help him regardless of the reason.

if you do it right you can help avoid that. i'm 22 and have done 10 cycles and my test levels are fine right now and i'm off, the only thing that is low is my sperm count and i'm working on making that better also

i went through this also....you won't get prescribed test, they would do lots of test including mri of pituitary to make sure you don't have other problems.....anyway best to tell the truth, your test levels will come up eventually, would be a lot faster if you use post cycle therapy, however your dr might prescribe thator he might say wait it out and get blood work evry 2 months or so...if you don't get scripts,i would get some clomid...i did this and i'm back to normal now...i will start next cycle soon.good luck!

140 at 23 is way low! It may have little to do with the cycle and was low from the start. 300 to 1200 is normal, you should be able to get a script for test. I wouldn't have said anything about the cycle, it will make it hard to get insurance. If your doc won't give you a script find one that will.

Sorry but there is no way I would ever tell my doc about steroid use. Once the insurance company see that on your records your screwed because then your ultra high risk material for them. You could always hook up with Swale at www.allthingsmale.com He's a legit doctor and they keep records private
