TweetI saw pain and gain yesterday. My girlfriend hated it lol Anyway it wasnt what i expected. It wasnt a serious and it wasnt hilarious. it kind of was a cheesy in between. Some parts where cool and had some action some where really funny, others where cheesey and where not funny to me. also its very long i think 135 minutes. I reallyt like the rock and mark walburg so all in all i enjoyed the movie. it does start off a little slow though it gets better as the movie goes on. Id would say 3.5/5. It would be a 4 but some parts are just cheesy. They made the rock a teddy bear type jesus guy and i thnk that was a wrong move otherwise it would be a solid 4. I still recomend it. There are parts in there that are funny for people who lift and juice and are into that life style that others who dont may not get.

TweetYeah idk it was still pretty good and pretty funny and at least there was some fighting and shooting and blood and gore and tits and everything guys like in movies lol. But it was really cheesy at times. Al though i wasnt 100% pleased with the movie i did not feel as though i wasted money seeing it. I do recomend that you see it. If you want to wait to see it for free or for 1 dollar on redbox then i would do that.

TweetI think Mark Wahlberg and the Rock are great actors and it looks like a funny movie, but there is no way I would be able to live with myself if I went and paid to see this. This movie is no different than someone taking the story of Adam Walsh (the young boy who was abducted from the mall and murdered, decapitated etc) and making it into a comedy movie. This movie makes a joke out of some unbelievably serious stuff that happened here in south florida a decade or so ago. My trainer had a friend who was involved in the whole Sun Gym ordeal. To make matters worse, the guy who was actually kidnapped and tortured is still alive here locally and now has to watch everyone around him go and see a comedy of his horrific situation that he has to live with on a daily basis. Michael Bay is an unbelievable director, but I have to lose respect for him after choosing to make this movie the way he did - a comedy.
Don't get me wrong, I love a great comedy, and this would be such a great plot IF IT WERENT TRUE.
