Hunter Pooser Sets Two USAPL Men’s (Teen III) Raw American Records
It was another day at the office for high school senior Hunter Pooser last Saturday at the USAPL Georgia State High School Championships. He set two (Raw) American Records, one in the squat, 260kg. (573 lbs.) and hit a record Total of 693 kg. (1,525 lbs.). Hunter went 9 for 9 hitting all 27 white lights.
His first squat of the day tied the current USAPL raw record of 250 kg., followed by squats of 255 kg. and 260 kg. He then took a conservative approach to the bench press with an easy 160kg. (352 lb.) final lift. Hunter then ended his day with a 273 kg. (600 lb.) deadlift.
