      I get so tired of supplement discussions. Maybe I've been doing this to long. Who knows.

      1) Body Building is all about excess. End of story. Excessive testosterone, excessive caloric intake, excess fitness routines, excessive weight....a serious body builder left normal and reasonable long time ago.

      2) You want to know if a supplement really works? If it is worth the money? Then answer this question: was it on the shelf 10 years ago? Those things that are really worthwhile have been around and WILL be around. The rest eventually go by the wayside.

      3) Food is the #1 body building supplement. People tend to forget this.

      4) The Shane story. Got this good friend of mine, Shane. Nice guy. Really like him. Use to be thin and scrawny and now the guy sports a physique any non-competing body builder would admire. Hes not the biggest guy in the gym, but he is a long way from being the smallest.

      Fact is, Shane obtained most of that physique will serving 3 years of a 5 year sentence. He ended up working on the prison farm and had access to a lot of finaplix, which he ate like candy. That and the crude iron pile the prison called a workout area, and prison food.

      We were all amazed at his transformation...skinny to hulking. Little Shane became big Shane. Once out, he started on quality stuff, mainly a diet of Test Enanthate...his fav, and loaded up on the protein shakes and has grown even bigger. Today he is one of my favorite workout buddies and body building friends...even though the test makes him a handful to be around sometimes.

      Amazing.

      And I witnessed it myself. Cow pellets, heavy hunks of iron and shit food...and an unbreakable spirit.

      Cant help but like the guy.


      Supplements? Go talk to Shane...sell him some peptides or chronium picolanate...or, maybe some 5-HTP.

      I wasted $1000's upon 1000's of dollars trying every supplement that ever got print space in Iron Man, Muscle Fitness and every other magazine and periodical. And in the end, my supplement list was reduced to:

      Food
      Protein shakes
      Creatine
      Glutamine

      oh yeah...and cyppie. Lots of test cyppie and tren.

      And I grow as fast as I want - my limiting factor being stretch marks. Something I am constantly having to avoid because I refuse to be permanently tattooed by those horrible freezer meat red zebra stripes a lot of my friends sport.


      Supplements....(sigh). I'm so tired of the articles.

      And I know everyone will disagree with me...and thats cool too. Your opinion doesnt change one thing about what I do in the gym and how I grow. And I do just fine.

      But in the end, its a matter of 'what works for you'.

      And the supplements still sell.

      And the magazines still bought.

      And the world still spins.

      ever wonder why all the top muscle magazines are owned by supplement companies? ever count the ad pages in one and then compare that to the actual pages that have any kind of useful information?
