Leg day...I do my warm up, but NOT as extensive as I usually do, this was probably my mistake.
I get onto the hammer strength squat machine.
I rep out 12 with 450lbs which is light, but I always warm up with 270 for 15. Mistake one there.
I go on and load 630 total, I drop down for 12.
load 720 and on my 4rth I hear a POP sound from my low back left side.
I stop, and I immediately go stretch myself.
I unloaded the machine.
Went onto the leg press....kept doing my workout.
But I could feel the pain building up.
2 hours later I could barely move.
It seems to me like the QL area.
I don't believe it is spinal cord related---compressed disk or such. I would not be here telling the story.
I took 2000mgs of iboproben for now.
I am seeing physio. Active Release Therapist at 7:30AM for work on it.
I had my girl walk on my back, she popped my left side once.....had a warm bath and it seems to be A LOT better.
I probably won't be able to sleep tonight FML!!
Anybody else experience this kind of situation??? And what was it?????

TweetSurprinsingly I slept here and there. Min pain, but as soon as I move it pulls me to the bottom left of my back.
Its really frustrating, but what's helping me out is that I know it will get better in a day or two.
I will be home all day today.
My appointment is in 1 hour...so because i am like an old old man, I better get going...taking a shower should take me 30 minutes, and sitting down to take a dump should be a field trip in it self

Tweeti pull my right side it took about 3 weeks first i backed down all weight on legs and back and took at least 800 mgs of iboproben daily spread out through the day but sitting standing tying my shoe laces was hell,take your time with that bro

She is somebody new that has been highly referred.
She def knew her anatomy and broke things down to what she thought was the issue.
She treated me, I feel so much better already.
I am seeing her again Friday afternoon.
For now she advised that I take a few days off from the gym, and be smart.
Deep tissue massage is what will solve my problem.
Nothing seems torn, or badly damaged, but my iliac join is a mess, and along with extremely tight mid pyriformis, which is pulling on the flexors, IT band.....
I am in pain, but less pain. I KNOW I am not out of the hot waters yet.
Contest prep must continue.
I will take 5 days off from lower body work. Will do chest, arms for now. And will hit quads Sunday, I believe I will be ready.

Did she do ART? Adjustments? What did she do? Glad its better.

used her elbows, knees what ever she had to to get in there...of course it never fails, these cuties are small but fit as hell hahahah
What impressed me was her deep knowledge of stuff, that always makes me feel comfortable.
I can hyper extend my back without ANY pain, bend side waays both ways without pain, but bending forward is where the pain is at.
It is very isolated to the QL area infact, does not radiate to my legs, or glute area.
She thinks the LOUD pop I heard could have been capular adjusting.
But at this point she does not think anything is torn or in grave condition.
I underwent THE SAME thing back in 2010 at the leg press when I tore the life out of a hip flexor and in the same movement popped my RIGHT lower back.
This time it is the LEFT side.
