Verizon calls "Your bill is $987"

TweetI had my mom's phone on my bill and after she died, I called and cancelled that phone a few weeks ago...Then I get an automated phone call yesterday saying my amt due is $987!...I called Verizon just now and she says it looks like someone made a terrible mistake on my bill..I said to her "What? a $900 mistake? How does that happen?" She says to me "Well,mistakes can happen"...

Comcast is a ratty ass company. I severed ties with them a few years ago and never looked back. Went with a satellite provider and have been very happy.

I had a situation like that with at&t back in the day.. send me a $400 bill with no breakdown of charges. Called and asked for it.. 5 times. Never received it... never paid the bill either. Switched carriers and put in a letter of dispute with the credit bureau.

TweetComcast is the worst company ive ever dealt with. i have free Comcast cable in my apartment and the company is so shitty and they ****ed up like 4 times i almost said **** it and went somewhere else and paid for my cable. as for virizon i like them i have them but i really hate any and all companies that make you sign contracts. mistakes can happen ya 5 bucks maybe i would have told her thank you but i dont want to do business with a company that makes a 900 mistaker and cancelled my service right there. i ****ing hate companies and how everyone does business now
