on Friday, 18th January a delegation from the IPF, leaded by the IPF President Gaston Parage, visited Budapest (Hungary) for a meeting with the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) President, Mr. Dr. Tamas Ajan.
Background of this visit in the beautiful City of Budapest was to inform Mr. Ajan, who is a honorable Member of the IOC, regarding the IPF application for the IOC recognition. The IPF Secretary General, Emanuel Scheiber, who is responsible for the application, described Mr. Ajan the current status quo of the IPF application.
