TweetJust got back from Sams. They have them in 8 oz packs. I bought every one they had. lol I just ate 8 oz of them. This is the best fruit! Eat them all winter and never get sick!!!!!
TweetI totally destroy Poms while in season. I highly suggest getting the whole Pom as you can by 4 huge Poms for under $9. They tend to last longer as you only open them as you use/need them. I figured it about doubles the return on investment. Yes, they can be a "pain" to clean out, but the time involved is small considering the savings. Favorite recipe: Mix these in with steal cut oatmeal. Unreal and the combination seems to elevate the effect for the feeling your body receives while eating clean and healthy. I typically top off that combo with a scoop of Muscle Milk. It's my crack cocaine in the am!!
TweetThey dont last 2 weeks in fridge. They will grow mold or else they will just taste moldy. I have eaten 8 ounces of arils that tasted moldy..wth? LOL
TweetI don't have trader Joes near me, but we have a couple markets that carry Poms a few months out of the year. Plus, Sam's club which started carrying them in 4-packs this year. I have kept the actual whole Pom about three weeks and it's still good. However, one of my friends gave me a great idea for next year. They process the Poms and freeze them. They were also going to can them this year too. Either way, it's a amazing boost for the body I believe.
