TweetThey say the bod pod is accurate. I have never used one but some gyms have them. It is probably human error on the skinfold test.
TweetI went to the gym today and had my bf% done. They did skinfold and measured my waist, etc.... Well it came back as 4.8%. Well thats a impossibility, I was expecting between 10-13% especially since I'm on a bulking cycle of 500mg sus a week. I had the test redone by the head guy and my bf% came back 5.8%, we both agreed that it was still wrong. He told me it could be a number of things but none that made sense. I use to be 280lbs and I dropped to 160lbs at 6' tall, so I have alot of loose skin which I was told could affect the test. I am now 194lbs and still alot of loose skin. My question is how can I get a proper bf%? and what could be screwing the test up, its all computerized equations.
thanks,
jeff
Not Guilty..........

Tweetprobably the only accurate way would be to get a water immersion test, but why? girls rarely carry calipers to the clubs with them and contest judges use scorecards. enjoy your success at weight loss. most people don't have long term success...we are in the very small minority. if you look good, you look good. numbers can mess with your mind......
There is no substitute for experience......
TweetBulking cycle my ass, to be on a bulking cycle you have to gain strength and muscle not fat. Good try fatty, and p.s. you ain't going to camp!!!!Originally posted by jeff
