Alright, I'll admit it...I absolutely hate doing cardio! But I've been struggling with energy levels for a bit, and I think it's a result of zero cardio. I just finished week 5 of my 20 week bulk, and will be incorporating some cardio starting next week. Plan is at least 3 miles a week, and I'll try not to walk those laps ha ha. But not to long ago I asked if a stationary bike is considered cardio, so trying to keep my heart rate up I will use this as well.

For those of you who didn't do cardio, and then started, did you notice a noticeable increase in energy levels?

I was going to post progress pics, but I think I'm going to wait till week 10 now. Hopefully I can lean up a bit, then start adding on quality size slowly whle doing cardio. Not that ilook sloppy or anything ha ha, i dont promise. I have put on 45 pounds since the start of this year, and thats with 1 10 weeker, and this run now. I tried a prop ace run, but got hurt so jumped off. I will get more detailed in my experience when I do my progress pics, but for ow I need to focus on cardio...

I'm all ready stressing out about it lol!

      Add some non cardio/cardio workouts
Added walking lunges and farmers walks and get my heart rate up nicely. Not a replacement for cardio but you can do this without feeling like a rat on a wheel.

Also started heading out to the local football field and run the stairs. Mix it up.

I second that! Running the bleachers at the football stadium is some serious cardio. Our local football stadium has a huge hill in front of it, so running that hill and then running the bleachers will wear you out fast.

I'm going to try swinging a sledgehammer at a tire. That sounds like it would work pretty good!

MMA has always been the majority of my cardio and there is no replacement for this IMHO.Never get bored with it either.

I find that sex is the best conditioning. Core engagement, lower abs, glutes major minor, hamstrings, and when in prone position, your tricepts are active, chest, and back.
if you get her around you while you stand up, you can even do squats at the same time.

Other than bro, I don't hate cardio. I have become close to it because of its benefit. Blood flow, body temperature, physiological changes.

I stick with treadmill 3.0 and 4.0 incline for 20 minutes pre workout, and 10 mins post workout off season.

A river cuts through rock, NOT because of its strength, but because of its consistency...so let's f----ing do this bros!!!
