No, that was a rumor. There's no physiological reason why they cancel eachother out.

If creatine and glutamine are using the Ca2+ ion as a means of transport, there is potential for competition in absorbtion.

That was the reasoning that I have seen, which kinda makes sense to me.

Yes, this was the rumor, I am still trying to find the article.study that shows alternate pathways of absorbtion, I hope I can find it, its from way back when.

Yes there is truth to this!! You need somewhat of an insulin spike to uptake creatine and protein naturally stabalizes blood sugar. So, to get around this, you can mix the two with some sort of high glycemic source such as 8-10oz. of grape juice. That should give you the spike you need!! This wil help you uptake the glutamine more efficiently as well, so you can just throw it in to the mix. Just make sure you drink it within an hour after your workout!! Hope this helped!!

Yeah, just make sure you mix them all with about 60+ grams of carbs (12 oz. of grape juice will do the trick) and make sure you drink it within an hour post work-out. Your body really soaks up nutrients well at that time and it is almost impossible to store those carbs as fat during this time.
