TweetI forgot to mention is that the pain is constant all day.. It just doesn't go away.. It just gets worse if I move it in certain positions.
TweetOk so the past 4 weeks I have had been having pain on my left arm around my back, shoulder, and elbow.. If I move my arm a certain way it feels like I'm pulling something and it gets tight.. I can lift my arm up like maybe less then half way and then I get a lot of pain. I've never had that problem before but it has been happening for over a month now .
When I do move my arm in those certain positions I get extreme pain on my whole arm and I get like lil sharp almost shocking pain down to my finger tips.. Is it something toworry about? I been taking percs for the pain but its not helping.. What do you all suggest? Should I try bengay? some type of muscle relaxer? or muscle pain rub ? I have percs and I have ultrams and I got nuerotin for pain damage. How about heating pads? Would that help?
Any suggestions, anyone? It would be greatly appreciated.

TweetOh dang Diva, Im sorry to hear that, thats not good. Get it checked out. Sounds like a nerve is being compressed somewhere. Could be in the neck, shoulder, elbow, etc...There are people who can treat that kind of thing and it could go away after one treatment if they are good. There are ways to stretch and "floss" that affected nerve.Good luck bbe. It will go away eventually.
Tweet^i agree Dzone sounds like a nerve issue to me...nerves are tricky...sometime they just work their way out...maybe seek out a personal trainer with a background in physical therapy...or a PT if you know one...
TweetThank you Dzone and 6p6 .. I will talk to my doc tomorrow and see what he has to say.
Tweeti would for sure go get it checked out, it could be a nerve as stated above, or could be something totaly diff. the only way to know for sure is to have it looked at
good luck
TweetSee a doctor to get a proper assessment. It does sound like a nerve but you won't know until you get a proper diagnosis. Take care of it and yourself my friend, need you at 100%.
TweetYea, sounds bad enough to go see a doctor. Get well soon!! Sounds kinda like what daved150 did last weekend pushing my boat out. He had a pretty sweet bruise on his forearm and his bicep is all messed up now

Tweetall great info. i would lead more toward a nerve if it hasnt showed improvement in a month. usually you will see some improvements in 30 days of resting if it is a muscle and or tendon. i will give you a quick story about my journey to hugeness and nerve issues and dealing with stupid doctors. i had crazy pain shooting down both my arms from the shoulder down and hands going to sleep (completely dead) throughout the day. well i went to the doc and told him what was going on. he looked at me did x rays and an mri. he said that my delts where growing so big that it was pushing on a nerve bundle causing my issues. my choice of action was 1 to stop training them and allowing them to atrophy to stop the problem or 2- suck it up and deal with it till the nerves either adjust to it or die off completely. i love doctors and i am glad i found a good sports med and general practice doc that arent judgemental and are cool now
TweetI have a compressed nerves in my neck and it cause referred pain down to my fingers. You should go to the doc to make sure and if you could, see a neurologist and skip the regular doc. I was diagnosed with compressed nerves based on my symptoms and an EMG (nerve study test). I would also say to get a good massage as you need to loosen the muscles up in that area and maybe a find a therapist who knows Trigger point massage. Getting this kind of massage can work wonders. A heating pad, or baths with epsom salts, can help too. I can tell you that sitting at the computer to long can make that worse also. Percs can help but true nerve pain sometimes needs different meds. keep us posted!
