I weigh 1 time a week
TweetFor a while there, I refused to get on the scale. I figured what I didnt know, couldnt hurt me. Thats Bullshit. Now I see that way as the pus sy way.
Well, those days are over and I am holding myself accountable DAILY. No days off. Each day I will get on the scale and record it in a notebook. No more fuking off.
Ive already increased my cardio volume since I started this mental exercise. And my diet is cleaner without even trying.
I was at 265. Now at 248. Still pretty lean, vascular, but too smoooth and cant see my abs yet,... Goal is 220. That was my last BB competition. Thats 28 pounds more to drop. I gotta believe and persist. No more days off.

TweetI weigh daily but it's more of a curiosity thing than a progress thing. I like getting on the scale, knowing what I ate or didn't eat the day before, and then seeing how that affects my weight. I just have to be careful not to put too much concern on what that number is. I'm trying to get lean but in more of a recomp way. So I am building muscle while losing the body fat. My numbers are up and down constantly. As far as the "weigh in day" that I use for progress, I weigh in once a week on Wednesdays....it follows my low cal day.

TweetIve learned not to weigh myself everyday. Ive weighed 110 before but i look WAY better at 120(current weight). I just look in the mirror everyday and see the changes instead of focusing on what a scale says.
TweetI agree, th emirror is the best way to gauge your progress, I just needed some accountability. The scale can play tricks on ya. LIke today, I ate clean all weekend, did lots of cardio and guess what, today I weighed in at 251. Ya, thats 3 pounds more than friday WTF? LOL
Tweetughh i hate that!! it really messes with my head but i can get on the scale and weigh 10lb heavier than last time but if i look better then i dont care lol
TweetAlways do, but I don't have goals really, I'm just curious. 220 tonight.
TweetMy scale has asked me only to put my fat ass on it one day a week!
Tweet^ LOL! When I was focused on DC I was told to only weight myself at the begging of the blast and at the end. Now that I'm kind of all over the place with personal stuff I started to get a bit paranoid about losing whatever weight I have gained. Honestly I'm on there every other day. 230 yesterday morning...
TweetYou should never weigh yourself daily brother. There are so many variables from day to day to cxause your weight to fluctuate,it can actually discourage you sometimes. What you ate that day and even the day before can change your bw so much it isnt accurate.Sodium intake can change how much water you're holding and throw your weight off drastically.
Weekly weigh in's are adequate and will give you a more accurate reading as to where you are and where yuo need to be.
TweetI usually weigh weekly. It can be hard staying away from the scale though, so I do throw some extra weigh ins through the week sometimes.
