TweetI'm sold to New Balance....I usually go with the all leather model, have tried other cross trainner model but I am not as comfy in thems. The leather model is a little more heavier than the others but the are also tuffer. I replace thems every time I start a new competitive year. I get thems via the hospital and get my soils custom made there...it's more expensive, but it made hell of a difference on my old hips and knees when doing cardio 7xweek, 2hrs per day.

TweetI train with the flattest pair of shoes I can find and that's usually a pair of wrestling shoes or indoor track shoes. Especially on deadlift and squat days.

TweetNew balance for cross training because they have the best arch support. Nike has some of the better cushion but their arch supports suck. I wear Mizuno's personally because they are very light weight for running or sprinting and they are sturdy enough to lift in. The only thing about Mizuno's is the insole, it sucks. They only last about 25 miles. I usually get a good thick insole and stick it in immediately. They are a little pricy but they last a long time. Much longer than any Nike or New Balance I've ever had.
