I bet they get sued! And why a 14 year old? Can't a cop handle a kid of that age. Plus if you can get close enough to use one, why not do it the old fashion way... There are some good cops, But he sounds like one of the DUMB A$$ ones I know. He could have actually shot the kid in the leg, and came out better than he is now! Stupid , stupid, stupid. -

heard about this story.. i thought the news reported that the cop thought there was a gun...i dont remember for sure, but was'nt it a girl! either way "dumb a$$" is right.HE WHO MAKES A BEAST OF HIMSELF, GET'S RID OF THE PAIN OF BEING A MAN!!

Not the cops fault that the kid had a weak heart. Whats he supposed to do interview the fuckhead before he tags him? Be real people, 10 year old kids are killing cops with guns, 8 yr old kids are bringing guns to school and shooting people....Sad to hear about this kid but hey, maybe not getting in that position would have been the right move.Comment

i agree cops are under lots of stress and in this day and time ..age really doesn't mean anything kids are killing kids everyday....but if he close enough to use a taser gun wasn't he close enough to pepper spray him?“Don't worry about life, you're not going to survive it anyway.”

Taser can shoot what 25-50 ft? pepper spray like 15 at the most?
Edit- just asked a sherriff, he said they can go up to 100ft but dont have quite the impact and force at over 75...bigger people would who have high pain thresholds would'nt even care, so police usually dont bother.Comment

I'm mixed on this one. I think cops are under a lot of stress, but on the flip side, they took the job nobody made them become a cop. You have to be able to be calm cool and collected at all times. There way too much of this "I thought he/she had a gun" shit lately. And in a lot of cases if they don't, one will "magically" appear. There needs to be more awareness taught to kids in school. If you are told to freeze, you drop to the gound face down immediately. No phukin around or else. You teach that to kids and drill it into their heads over and over then there would be less of this going on. No need to tag or shoot someone on the ground face down. The threat is gone at this point. IMO.I used to have superhuman powers....until my therapist took them away.

Tazer gun huh,...? hehe.. Have you ever seen what happens to a punk assed gangster kid when he gets hit with a Tranquilizer Gun...??? Absolutely PRICELESS !! :withstupiLeaders did what others weren't willing to do, now they enjoy the things that others do not.

I used to volunteer at a Children's home and there were two 13 year old boys who were over 6ft and 200 lbs. I am not kidding.
If the cop felt in danger, he is supposed to use every means neccessary to secure the other person.Comment
