TweetDon't they make blackberry/cell phone combo's now?
I'd get one of those.. I hate carrying all this crap around..
TweetShould I get? I start my new position tomorrow and along with a blackberry and laptop I get a choice of a new phone?
Any ideas?

TweetYeah, but I get a phone free so I thought I might as well look important by carrying around an amped up phone and blackberry/phone.

I think you'll feel cool for all of about 2 weeks. Then carrying all that crap around starts to suck..
Nobody will think you look cool..most people wear their gear where others don't see it. And if you do... (like a batman belt) then you look like a dumbass, not cool.
With a laptop, I find I only really use my PDA for holding contact information and for scheduleing meetings. Emails, games, applications, etc are all way better/easier on the laptop. Here in Canada they're comming out with Cell phone PDA's.. different than blackberry's in that they use the telephone company for the internet connection. This may be your better option... a cell phone that's also a PDA vs. a PDA that's also a cell phone.

TweetI was kidding about looking cool. My blackberry will serve as both but I was thinking about a phone with a digital camera in it.
Tweeti'd get the motorola t722i with the camera ...
Tweeti think the sony/ericson t-28's are cool .really small, and you can attach a camera...Originally posted by TheGame1976

i'm still locked in a contract with cingular and they don't have GSM yet. they'll pick it up in december, then i'll probably get either the t-28, or the nokia 8890. I have a nokia 8860 now with the cool little blue led's...
The burden of originality is one that most people don't want to accept. They'd rather sit in front of the TV and let that tell them what they are suppose to like, what they're suppose to buy, and what they're suppose to laugh at. You have Beavis and Butthead telling you what music you're allowed to like and not like, and you've got sitcoms that have canned laughter that lets you know when to laugh if you're too stupid to know when the joke is. People are too lazy and too stupid to think for themselves because America has raised them that way.

TweetI knew you would respond bro! I only pa $9.99/month for 2,000 anytime minutes so I might as well use them. I can get that phone for about $100.00.
TweetThe 8890 is a nice phone. T-Mobile has good products and prices. Anyone need a blackberry??? Just kidding!

A panasonic rep was here yesterday trying to convince me to buy panasonic laptops.
While he was here, he was showing me his latest "toy". It was a cell phone/PDA/camara. With internet access and all..
It was kinida neat.. however I noticed the camara part was a little feeble. It had no viewfinder, so you were forced to use the LCD display. It also had no zoom or ability to choose picture quality.

TweetYeah, T-Mobile has great benes and a very good commission plan. An account executive sold 1,000 Blackberries to a large client and walked away with a commission check for 90K after taxes. If you hit quota, you pull in around 120...

TweetYeah, we will see how easy it is to sell these things. My boss is a slick talking ex Wall Street big shot so I should benefit from his guidance.
TweetAwww...a young Jedi like myself. Read "Who Moved My Cheese!"
TweetI love my Nextel i90cl color phone. Cost a lot, but it kicks ass. It has java, internet, tons of bells and whistles. Oh yeah, it can make phone calls too!
It's better to burn out, than to fade away...
TweetDoes anyone know what the Matrix phone is called. I know it's a Nokia but no clue on what model. The front slides down...
