It is hard on your liver and have to get checked often to see if your liver levels have gone up

TweetI take it as needed for my neck. I can tell that it works. I was given some new stuff that is Napralin. It has naproxen sodium in it and does a little better than the celebrex.

TweetCelebrex works for sore joints. It is a cox 2 inhibitor. Im pretty sure It was pulled off the market because it was causing HEART ATTACKS. Then the drug company pushed and pushed to get it back on the market again. Use with caution. All cox 2 inhibitors have been proven to cause heart damage..

OK, just checked it out, it was Vioxx that was banned, but its back now. Millions of dollars were lost when it was taken off the market..Drug Co.lobbyists persuaded the fda to let them sell it again.

TweetIn my non medical backgroung opinion, It is not harsh on the liver but diffused by it and if you are on any diuretics, it could decrease the efficiency of those.

TweetFrom what I recall, Celebrex causes the same amount of Heart damage as Vioxx..there was a special about it on 60 minutes, exposing the greed of Pfizer..Heart Attacks and Strokes increase exponentially with all cox 2 inhibitors. I dont remember the exact mechanism

Tweetworked good for me. i have since swiched to edodolac which is almost as effective but much cheaper

Dzone, vioxx worked like a champ! i wondered why my doc wouldnt give it to me a few years back
